PCB (potongan cukai bulanan, also called MTD) is the income tax your employer deducts from your pay each month. This page estimates it by the annualised method on the YA 2025 resident rates. For example, on a salary of RM5,000 a month (age 30, no bonus) that is about RM110.00 a month. Your payslip figure can differ.
Rates as of 10 October 2026. Sources: LHDN. An estimate, not tax or financial advice.

An estimate, not your payslip figure. Nothing you type leaves this page.
This estimate is for tax residents. If you are not a tax resident, ask your payroll team how your tax is worked out.
This page works out a year of tax and divides it by 12, using only the individual relief and your EPF (on salary and bonus). With a bonus, it spreads the year's tax evenly over 12 months, so it does not show a bigger deduction in the month the bonus is paid. Your employer may use a different method and the reliefs you declare to them, so the amount on your payslip can differ. If it differs a lot, ask your payroll team how it was worked out and read how to read your payslip. A result of nil means the estimate finds no tax at that pay. For take-home pay after EPF, SOCSO and EIS use the salary calculator.
