GET https://money.com.my/api/v1

Lists every endpoint. Answers are JSON, open to any website (CORS), and cached for up to an hour (live rates 15 minutes), with an ETag. Errors are JSON too: { "error": { "status", "code", "message" } }.

Endpoints

• GET /api/v1/tax

  Income tax: bands, reliefs and rebates

  LHDN's resident tax bands, the non-resident rate, the main personal reliefs with their caps, and the RM400 rebate.

• GET /api/v1/epf

  EPF contributions and dividends

  Statutory EPF contribution rates (EPF Act 1991, Third Schedule) and the declared dividend history.

• GET /api/v1/socso-eis

  SOCSO and EIS contributions

  PERKESO's SOCSO rates by phase (Act A1788, from 1 June 2026), the phase in force today, and EIS rates, with the wage ceiling.

  Bank Negara Malaysia's ringgit rates for the main currencies, each with its own date.

What every answer carries

• status: ok, stale, unavailable or not-yet-verified. Anything we have not verified is left out and reported as not-yet-verified, never filled in.
• data: The figures. Rates say their unit in the field name: ...Fraction (0.11 is 11%) or ...Percent (4.5 is 4.5%). A band with no upper limit has null.
• sources: Each official source, with its URL and verifiedOn, the date we last checked the figures against it. Rates read automatically from an official API (OPR, fuel, ringgit) have asOf, the date the figure is for, instead.
• licence: The reuse terms and the credit to give.
• attribution: Bank Negara Malaysia's credit, on every answer with BNM figures (the OPR, ringgit rates and the indicative home-loan rate). Keep it with those figures.

Each figure stays subject to its official publisher's own terms. Where an answer carries Bank Negara Malaysia's figures, keep BNM's credit (the attribution field) with them.

Read-only, no personal data

The API takes no personal data and stores nothing you send. It never asks for an IC number, bank details, OTP or login. money.com.my is independent and is not the government: confirm on the official source before you act. Our privacy policy covers the whole site. For AI assistants, the same facts are available as an MCP server.
